This used to be a vintage plaid wool blanket. Now it’s a cropped, oversized chore coat with a high collar and seven snaps.
The body is pink, yellow, navy and white plaid, with navy corduroy panels across the chest. Lilac fleece makes the pocket flaps and front placket, and floral trim finishes the collar and hem. The blanket, fleece and trim all came from a thrift store. The lining is a floral sheet, so the inside is just as busy as the outside.
The collar has two snaps at the top, so it can stand up or fold down. The drop shoulder makes the sleeves run a little short on purpose.
